Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti: MSI is at the start with five model variants of the graphics card
Officially the sale of the new professional graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti started today. Our colleagues of the PC Games Hardware have already undergone the Bolid a big test. Available model variants are in the trade but still in short supply, or better said: There are currently no listed models in the common German shops. This is also because the customer manufacturers’ customer manufacturers are only gradually confirmed. From MSI, there is now a press release reference to three model series of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, with two model variants in each of the series. Therefore, there will be five Geforce RTX 3090 Ti models from MSI in the sum. The three series are the following: Suprim, Gaming Trio and Black Trio. The Suprim series will offer two model variants, the normal Suprim and the Suprim X. The latter has with 1965 Megahertz a 30 megahertz higher boost clock. In addition, there is a change between a power and a silent mode for both suprim models thanks to dual-bios – the silent mode has 15 megahertz less tact as a destination for the boost. The RGB lighting of the graphics cards is synchronized with MSIS Mystic Light, among other things.
MSI RTX 3090 Ti: Gaming Trio and Black Trio
At the Gaming Trio series, there will also be two models in which one may assume that the variant Gaming Trio X offers a higher clock than the NON-X version. However, there are no exact clock data from MSI, just as is a dual-bios – controllable RGB lights are available but available. The fifth graphics card is the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Black Trio, which offers a smaller boost clock at 1860 Megahertz as the two suprim models. The Black Trio model is supposed to score above all with a deliberately simple design as it sets less on a striking look, which also shows the absence of RGB LEDs. Rather, MSI emphasizes an iconic industry aesthetics.
For the general data, the five models of MSI do not differ: You have a NVIDIA GA102 GPU with 10752 CUDA-CORES, 24 gigabyte GDDR6x-RAM (384 bits), three connections for Displayport 1.4A and once HDMI 2.1 and a connection for A PCIe Gen5 power plug with 16 pins. The differences of the five models are basically the clock values as well as the cooler designs basically only in length: the two suprim models and the black trio measure 33.7 inches, the gaming x trio variants 32.5 centimeters. In electricity requirements, all models of 450 watts, the Suprim X even 480 watts – so that the electricity requirement is meant only for the graphics card. Prices and exact released data have not been known to us yet. The EIA of NVIDIA alone for a GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is at 2249 euros.
