Atluded presents Soul Hackers 2 after 25 years of hibernation
The story takes place in the middle of the 21st century and follows the adventures of Ringo and Fig, two artificial entities created by Aion – Conscious data cluster having transcended the limits of human intelligence -, in order to avoid the End of the world, just that. In order to achieve this, they must associate with a group of demons invoker including arrow and Milady, who seem to have a link with current events and brought back to life by Ringo after being murdered. Together, they will have to investigate the causes of the apocalypse to come and discover who hides behind.
If Shin Megami Tensese deals with religion and if Persona focuses on human relationships and adolescence, Soul Hackers play on anticipation and place of technologies in the future. Artificial intelligence, cyberspace, piracy, all themes addressed, but do not abandon the importance of the demons living here in a parallel dimension and being invoked through a gadget called Comp in order to solve paranormal incidents, but also to commit crimes.
