FIFAE CLUB WORLD CUP: Cologne and Neo to the Division 1
Shortly before Christmas, there were numerous clubs and organizations in the pre-qualification to the Fifae Club World Cup around the globe. The successful teams were allowed to compete on Thursday and Friday in the first game week of the online qualifiers. Two conferences go to the start in the “East and Central Europe” zone.

Each of these conferences includes three divisions, at the end of the fourth game week, only enter the strongest teams of the first division in the play-offs. The process provides for a resolution and descent system that the teams switch between the divisions – from the German point of view, the prelude quite successful.

In Division 2 Hannover 96 had to be beaten in the final in the FK Austria Vienna, the Austrians had previously switched off the ESPORT Academy of Hertha BSC in Loser Bracket. In Division 3, the German Organization Iqonic also lost only in the final against Reply Totem Esports.
DFB double secures neo-triumph
The first Division of the Second Conference consisted of FC Schalke 04, RB Leipzig, Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Focus Clan and the SV Werder Bremen largely from German teams. At the top, however, the first game week completed the Swiss organization Nomen Est Oommen (NEO).
The German Enwall Terman’s Duo from Dylan ‘Dullenmike’ Neuhausen and Kai ‘Hensoo’ Hense hit the Schalke Hasan ‘Hasoo19’ Eker and Julius ‘S04Juli’ Cool in the final with 4: 2 and 3: 1. The strong “scarce” had eliminated in the run-up to the final of Leipzig, the focus clan and Gladbach eliminated.
In Division Two stood by VfL Wolfsburg in the final against Pro2be Esports, the SpVGG Greuther Fürth had to give himself beaten the Italians in the round before. Division 3 was the only without German participation in the final: Borussia Dortmund had to delete the sails after two bankruptcies, the FC Ingolstadt lost in the semi-final of the loose bracket against GL17CH (1: 3, 0: 3).
