Review Forza Horizon 5 A Magnificent Masterpiece for Xbox Series X

While the Xbox Series X has been available for almost a year, there are very few exclusives that have really driven the graphic capabilities of the system. Adrift just before the first anniversary of the console is Forza Horizon 5, the most recent entry into the Playground Games series. This time, the developer decided to bring the Horizon festival to Mexico, since the country has several diverse regions with very different climate patterns and terrain. It turned out to be a successful decision, as it helped PlayGround to offer the Xbox series X game more attractive to date.
The graphics are certainly not everything, but when the players buy a new piece of hardware, they want to see what it can do. Forza Horizon 5 It works as an excellent masterpiece for the Xbox Series X console, offering so many things that they left me speechless. From the way the city of Guanajuato lights up at night, until the glow of the magma at the top of the volcano, the graphics really make this world copper life. The cities, the deserts and the beaches of the game are impressive. It does not seem exaggerated to imagine that some players will want to visit Mexico for themselves after playing this game.
Speaking of Mexico, forza Horizon 5 The map is huge (50% larger than its predecessor, according to Xbox). There are so many things to see and do, but you never feel intimidating. In fact, it is extremely easy to trace a course to which you want to go and follow that road from one end to the other of the map. Of course, it is easy to get distracted. Often, I was driving a great distance to see a race, just to help explore a storm of dust on the road, or to see the aforementioned volcano. The variety is excellent and makes it much easier to spend several hours with Forza Horizon 5 without getting bored.
While the game looks very good, it also works very well. It is true that I am a newcomer to the Forza series, and it cost me a little to orient myself. Learning to perfect the turns of the game without deviating me from the course gave me many problems; I saw «7/12» on my screen so many times I assumed that the developers knew my birthday. However, even when I was down after each race, the game still rewarded me with experience, and that gave me the incentive to continue looking for ways to improve. From time to time, the game was wondering if I wanted to reduce the difficulty, but I opted to continue where I started. A small detail is the rewind function, which allows players to quickly undo an error (or some) by simply pressing the Y button. I tried not to support me, but it was nice to see how PlayGround Games found all these different forms of doing Forza Horizon 5 accessible for those less familiar with the series.
Both lifelong fanatics and newcomers should also be happy with the number of customization options available. There are many ways in which players can adjust the experience to their liking, from the controls of the game to the player s character. The game even offers players the possibility of giving their avatar prosthetic extremities, which seems an incredible way to make the experience more inclusive.
Forza Horizon 5 Music is also quite strong. There are a handful of radio stations to select and have been designed to replicate the auditory experience of Sirius XM. There are many great clues that fit perfectly with the theme of races, and players will have many jams in their heads long after the game has turned off. On a personal level, I loved listening to the Arkell while driving, and it is surreal to see them go from a group that I could not find in iTunes a decade ago, one that appears in an AAA video game.
It is difficult to find many negative things to say about Forza Horizon 5. The gameplay is fun and varied, the music is solid, there are tons of cars to unlock and it is absolutely beautiful to see. The whole package is really impressive. PLAYGROUND GAMES found many ways to make Mexico come life, taking full advantage of the diversity of the region and, at the same time, taking the Xbox series X hardware to its limits. If you have the console, it is due to yourself to verify Forza Horizon 5, whether that means buying a copy of the game or playing it through Xbox Game Pass. It could be one of the best masterpieces of the next generation era so far.
