NFL Pittsburgh Steelers trade Linebacker Melvin Ingram zu Kansas City Chiefs

The Pittsburgh Steelers separated from Outside Linebacker Melvin Ingram III shortly before the Trade Deadline. The 32-year-old goes to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a six-round pick.
Both teams announced the trade on Tuesday. The former Pro-Bowler Ingram had signed a one-year agreement at the Steelers before the season, but was finally used sporadically and missed victory in week 8 against Cleveland Browns due to strip injury.
In the previously disappointing Chiefs (4-4), which must be baked around the playoffs, Ingram should reinforce the Pass Rush. The team is still eleven sacks in this season so far, just a team is even worse in this regard.
The Steelers (4-3) build instead of Ingram mainly on Alex Highsmith. He depends on 1.5 sacks and 25 tackles in his second year in the league. Ingram stands for a sack of this season and ten tackles.
